UO Live @ SXSW
Urban Outfitters went down to Austin to celebrate SXSW as an official partner for the thirteenth year. We produced two days of back-to-back programming that featured zeitgeist-steering music talent; emerging voices in media and music; surprise + delight giveaways and product customization; and immersive multi-sensory environments. We welcomed more than 1,600 customers and music fans to join us in the courtyard of Space 24 Twenty for panel discussions, live music, and exclusive goods from our partners at Reebok, Levi’s, and Fujifilm Instax.
Day 1 featured a panel discussion with digital media disruptor, Byline, with founders Gutes Guterman and Megan O’Sullivan in conversation with cultural critic, Chris Black. After the panel, fans enjoyed a special performance by singer-songwriter Ogi. On Day 2 we brought Philly to Texas with a music showcase featuring Tierra Whack, Chioke, and NEWYRKLA.
