100 Years > Byproduct

After my 100 Years project, II was left with test strips of rag paper and a stack of paint-soaked paper towels. The colors swirled into vibrant patterns and abstract shapes, inspiring me to create this byproduct piece.

I wanted this to be entirely upcycled, so rather than buying a canvas, I found a large piece of cardboard as my base. The materials slowly transformed into an elaborate, vibrant, topographical mural -- ripe for interpretation at both the micro and macro levels.
